I am happy to supervise PhD theses on a variety of topics, including (but not limited to) theoretical philosophy (metaphysics, epistemology, logic, mind) in early Greek philosophy, Plato, and Aristotle as well as early Greek science, broadly conceived.
I am also happy to supervise MA theses on a wider variety of topics. In addition to ancient Greek philosophy, I am working with (or have previously worked with) students on topics in philosophy of logic/language, political philosophy, and philosophy of gender. So, if you have a great idea for a thesis, let's talk!
Admission to the MA and PhD programmes is competitive and decided by departmental committee (not individual supervisors); please see the website for additional information, including the minimum requirements for admission.
Postgraduate education at Bilkent is open to foreigners as well as Turkish citizens and permanent residents. All MA and PhD students are provided funding, which includes scholarship and on-campus housing assistance.
