Aristotle Rocks!

Hoş geldiniz / Welcome

I am currently Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department at Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey).

I specialize in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, with particular interests in topics at the intersection of metaphysics and natural philosophy in Aristotle. Currently, I am working on Aristotle's material elements and his theory of compound, inanimate materials (to wit, rocks.)

In addition to ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, I regularly teach courses in the history of social and political philosophy.  In the past, I have also taught courses in logic, modern philosophy, and metaphysics.
